About this offer
Ahrefs' free account, which grew out of Ahrefs Webmaster Tools, gives website owners free access to SEO tools for their own sites. Site Explorer, Site Audit and Web Analytics need you to verify ownership first, which you can do through Google Search Console, a DNS record or an HTML file.
Site Audit allows 5,000 crawl credits per verified project per month, and Site Explorer shows up to 1,000 keywords, backlinks or top pages at a time. Ahrefs says the account needs no credit card and has no trial period.
