About this offer
Office 365 A1 is Microsoft's donated education plan. It includes the web-based versions of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, plus PC-only versions of Publisher and Access. Microsoft donates it to eligible institutions and lets students and educators with an eligible education email address sign up for free.
The plan can be used while the person works at or is enrolled in a qualified educational institution, and eligibility may be re-verified at any time. If it expires, apps drop to a view-only reduced-functionality mode and institution-linked online services stop working until status is re-verified or the user moves to a personal plan.
