Notion runs a startup program that gives eligible new customers free time on its Business Plan, which includes Notion AI.
Startups affiliated with a Notion partner can receive up to 6 months free by requesting a code from the partner and including it in the application. Startups without a partner may qualify for 3 months, and SMBs, service businesses or teams under 10 employees that do not meet the startup criteria may receive 1 month.
Applications are reviewed and Notion must be able to verify company details such as a working website and company email.

- 6-month offer: affiliated with a Notion partner, with a valid Notion domain, a public company website, a company email and fewer than 100 employees
- 3-month offer: startups without a partner that meet Notion's startup criteria and can be verified
- 1-month offer: SMBs, service-based businesses or teams under 10 employees
