Kiro, the AI coding IDE from AWS, runs a startup credits program that gives eligible early-stage to Series A startups up to 1 year's worth of free Kiro Pro+. The amount of promotion credits depends on the tier you select, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
You need an AWS account whose email address uses a domain matching your startup's corporate website. Startups with active AWS Activate credits are not eligible, although Activate credits can already be used for Kiro. The offer is limited to one subscription per startup, credits expire one year after they are issued, and once credits run out the account switches to standard Kiro Pro+ billing.

How to redeem
- 1Create an AWS account if you don't have one
- 2Apply at aws.amazon.com/startups/credits/kiro and choose a tier
- 3Wait for the rolling review; the decision is sent to your AWS account email
- 4After approval, credits are added to your AWS account; sign in to Kiro through IAM Identity Center
