About this offer
Google Cloud gives new customers a $300 credit that can be spent on Google Cloud products, for example to build a proof of concept. The trial begins when a billing account is created in the Google Cloud console.
The trial ends at the earliest of three points: usage fees exceeding the $300 credit, 3 months after the start date (unused credit then expires), or upgrading to a paid account. Google states that you are not charged until you activate a full paid account.
The trial has limits. Compute Engine use is capped at eight concurrent cores, cryptocurrency mining is not allowed, and some services and features are unavailable during the trial.
Who's eligible
- Only new Google Cloud Platform customers are eligible.
- U.S. and/or Mexican federal, state or local government entities are not eligible unless Google agrees in writing.
How to redeem
- 1Go to the Google Cloud free program page and start the free sign-up.
- 2Create a billing account in the Google Cloud console; this sets the Free Trial Start Date.
- 3Use the $300 credit on Google Cloud products before it runs out or expires.
Terms and restrictions
- The trial ends when usage fees exceed the $300 credit, 3 months after the start date, or when you upgrade to a paid account, whichever comes first.
- Unused credit expires 3 months after the Free Trial Start Date, including if you upgrade early.
- Compute Engine use is limited to eight cores of concurrent usage.
- Cryptocurrency mining is not permitted.
- Some services and features are not available under the trial.
- Google may terminate or modify the Free Trial at any time.
Terms are summarised from the provider's page and may change. The provider's terms always take precedence.
