About this offer
GitHub for Nonprofits gives verified nonprofit organizations a choice of a free GitHub Team plan or 25% off the GitHub Enterprise Cloud plan. GitHub's FAQ says the free Team plan includes unlimited private repositories and unlimited users. GitHub also points nonprofits to its Nonprofit Developer Pack, a curated set of free and discounted services from GitHub and partners.
The program is open to registered 501(c)(3) organizations and their equivalents in other countries that are non-governmental, non-academic, non-commercial and non-political. GitHub first checks the organization against a validated database; if that check doesn't validate it, the organization submits a form with its country of registration, registration ID and proof of status, such as a 501(c)(3) letter.
Who's eligible
