About this offer
Firebase has two pricing plans: the no-cost Spark plan and the pay-as-you-go Blaze plan. Spark needs no payment method. Products such as A/B Testing, App Check, App Distribution, most Authentication options, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, In-App Messaging and Performance Monitoring have no charge at any usage level.
Metered products have no-cost quotas, for example Cloud Firestore with 1 GiB stored, 50K reads, 20K writes and 20K deletes a day and 10 GiB a month of egress (one free database per project), Realtime Database with 1 GB stored and 10 GB a month of downloads, and Hosting with 10 GB storage and 360 MB a day of transfer.
On Spark, if a product exceeds its no-cost quota in a month, that product is shut off for the project until the next month. Cloud Storage buckets aren't available on Spark; the no-cost Cloud Storage usage applies on Blaze.
Who's eligible
- Anyone with a Google account creating a Firebase project
How to redeem
- 1Go to the Firebase console
- 2Create a project (it starts on Spark)
- 3Upgrade to Blaze only if you need more than the no-cost quotas
Terms and restrictions
- Exceeding a product's no-cost quota shuts that product off for the rest of the month
- Cloud Storage buckets aren't available on Spark
- Phone-auth SMS is billed and only available on Blaze
- Quotas and pricing can change (Remote Config pricing changed on September 1, 2026)
Terms are summarised from the provider's page and may change. The provider's terms always take precedence.
