About this offer
DeepL's Developer plan is a free way to test the DeepL API. It has a total translation limit of 1,000,000 characters. This is a one-time allowance, not a monthly quota: once it is used it does not reset, and you need to upgrade to the Growth plan to keep translating.
DeepL's help center also lists the older API Free plan, which allowed up to 500,000 characters per month; this listing covers the Developer plan. On the Growth plan with monthly billing, DeepL includes 1 million characters and 10 hours of speech-to-text.
